Thursday of the Twenty-second Week in Ordinary Time
O Lord Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I dedicate to You the prayers, efforts, joys, and trials of this day. I join these offerings with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass celebrated worldwide, for the purposes of Your Sacred Heart: the salvation of souls, the atonement of sins, and the unity of all Christians. In a special way, I bring before You the intentions of the Holy Father for this month, asking that leaders around the world may serve their people with justice and compassion, focusing on genuine human development and the common good, particularly by supporting the disadvantaged, the poor, and those facing unemployment. Amen.
Daily Prayer:
Loving Jesus, help me to overcome my fears and doubts as I follow Your call. Just as You transformed Simon Peter’s life, let me use my gifts and talents to serve others and spread Your message and love. Give me the courage and confidence to live out the mission You have entrusted to me. May I faithfully respond to Your call and do justice to Your love and grace in all I do. Amen
