Friday of the Twenty-fourth Week in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. We pray for those persons living on the margins of society, in inhumane life conditions; may they not be overlooked by institutions and never considered of lesser importance. Amen
Daily Prayer:
“For we brought nothing into this world, just as we shall not be able to take anything out of it.”
O gentle Lord, the grace of a happy death is a tremendous gift. Death is our ultimate chance on earth to say “yes” to You, dearest God. Help us say the daily “yes” to You so that when the time comes, and we are asked by You to surrender our lives and hearts, we will do so without hesitation or any condition. Amen
