Monday of the Twenty-fourth Week in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. We pray for those persons living on the margins of society, in inhumane life conditions; may they not be overlooked by institutions and never considered of lesser importance. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Dearest Jesus, be with us in those lonely and morose times when we wonder what kind of friends we have. Comfort us when associates and colleagues and family are not enough and we feel the need for a soul mate. Ease our selfishness and give us caring hearts. The next time we fret too much about not having a real friend, Lord, let us have faith in You, our true Friend. Amen
