Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. We pray for those persons living on the margins of society, in inhumane life conditions; may they not be overlooked by institutions and never considered of lesser importance. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I hear about the needs of poor people who live in hunger and struggle daily to survive. But when I encounter someone who is homeless, I become skeptical and selfish with my gifts. Help me to open my heart to them and to remember that they are Your children, too.
Caring Father, guide me to help those who can benefit from my generosity. And guide the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate as they serve poor people in missions around the world. Their mission is even more difficult in these times. Amen
