Memorial of the Passion of St. John the Baptist
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, and the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month that
political leaders be at the service of their own people, working for integral human development and for the common good, especially caring for the poor and those who have lost their jobs. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Instill in me, Lord Jesus, the unwavering courage of John the Baptist, who boldly
proclaimed the truth regardless of the consequences. Give me firm conviction in
my faith in You, always speaking for Your truth, even in the face of opposition.
Protect me from those who harbor ill will towards me and guide my words to
respond with grace and patience. May I trust in Your divine justice, knowing that
You honor those who are faithful to Your word. Amen
