Memorial of St. Monica
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, and the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month that
political leaders be at the service of their own people, working for integral human development and for the common good, especially caring for the poor and those who have lost their jobs. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Heavenly Father, help me to focus on the matters of Your law: judgment, mercy,
and fidelity. Teach me not to be blinded by outward appearances, but to cleanse
my heart and soul from within. May I live with integrity, ensuring that my
actions reflect true righteousness and compassion. Guide me to balance my
devotion to both the small and great commandments, honoring You in all I do.
