Friday of the Twentieth Week in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. In particular, I pray for the intentions of the Holy Father this month that World Youth Day in Lisbon, Portugal, will help young people to live and witness the Gospel in their own lives. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Bountiful Lord, when it comes to helping a needy neighbor, sometimes we are only too happy to give them the things we no longer need or want. We may find it easier to write out a check than to give of our time. Help us to do a little more, Lord. Give us a generous and loving heart like Yours and show us how to give of ourselves. Amen
