Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, Apostles
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, and the reunion of all Christians. In particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month that the international community may commit in a concrete way to ensuring the abolition of torture and guarantee support to victims and their families. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Almighty God, who chose Saint Peter to build His church and chose Saint Paul as the preacher of truth to the Gentiles, grant that we may learn from their example and always stand firm in our faith. Saint Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 1:6, “I remind you to stir into flame the gift of God that you have.” O God, I ask where Your presence is but a spark in me, fan it into a flame that brightens other people’s lives. Amen
