Thursday of the Twelfth Week in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, and the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month that
migrants fleeing from war or hunger, forced to undertake journeys full of
danger and violence, find welcome and new opportunities in the countries that
receive them. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Lord, give us hearts that are open and attentive to the pain and the sufferings of
others. Help us to quiet our own grumblings and complaints so that we can hear
the pleas for help and comfort that occur around us. Empty us of our self-seeking behavior and help us follow You in the service of others. Amen
