Daily Prayer 6/23

Twelfth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Morning Offering:

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, and the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month that
migrants fleeing from war or hunger, forced to undertake journeys full of
danger and violence, find welcome and new opportunities in the countries that
receive them. Amen

Daily Prayer:

Dear God, be good to me; the sea is wide, and my boat is so small. How true
that is, O Lord, at times when trouble seems to overpower us like giant waves.
You are that safe ship that can help us maneuver through the storms of life.
Creator of the seas, give us faith and hope in You in turbulent times. When we
know that You are with us, our boat will not seem so tiny and vulnerable, and
we shall do well. Amen

Take the Next Step to Strengthen Your Prayer Life

We all could use some healing in our life. And prayer is the best way for us to communicate our needs with God.

Healing Prayers is a wonderful prayer book created by the Missionary Oblates for all those who long for the healing power of the Lord. For these persons, this prayer book has been written in faith and hope that, united in prayer, we might all experience healing of body, mind and spirit in every aspect of our lives.
