Monday of the Eleventh Week in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, and the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month that
migrants fleeing from war or hunger, forced to undertake journeys full of
danger and violence, find welcome and new opportunities in the countries that
receive them. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Jesus, meek and humble, keep us from the sin of arrogance and selfrighteousness and cleanse us of the hidden pride that keep us smug. Do not
allow our superficial show of goodness to fool anyone, including ourselves, for
deep down we are all in need of conversion and change. Destroy the thin veneer
of self-justification so that we might open wide the door to Your saving
presence. Amen
