Eleventh Sunday in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, and the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month that
migrants fleeing from war or hunger, forced to undertake journeys full of
danger and violence, find welcome and new opportunities in the countries that
receive them. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Loving Father, the cares and burdens of providing for a family require sacrifice;
the responsibilities of shaping and guiding children challenge the imagination.
There is no one way to do it, no single path to take, but the call to fatherhood
requires much love and patience. Bless all fathers on this their special day. Help
them to be a father like You are. Give them joy with their duties and let them
reflect Your care for creation. Amen
