Monday of the Tenth Week in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, and the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month that
migrants fleeing from war or hunger, forced to undertake journeys full of
danger and violence, find welcome and new opportunities in the countries that
receive them. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Heavenly Father, Jesus told us, “Blessed are the peacemakers.” Many times we
associate peace in global terms. We forget about the many chances we have
every day to make peace—peace with those who have hurt us, peace with those
whom we have hurt and peace within ourselves. Accept our prayers for peace.
Bless us, Lord, as we strive for that peace, for we want to be Your children. Amen
