Sixth Sunday of Easter
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month for the
formation of religious and seminarians. We pray that religious women and
men, and seminarians, grow in their own vocations through their human,
pastoral, spiritual and community formation, leading them to be credible
witnesses to the gospel. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Gentle Father, You sent Your Son to show us Your special love and concern for
the widow, the orphan and the poor—the outcasts, and the “nobodies” of
society. You ask us to reach out to people in need. Lord, give us the courage to
open ourselves in love to the service of all Your people. Let Your ways be our
ways and give us a special love and concern not just for our friends, but for all of
Your disenfranchised and forgotten children. Amen
