Daily Prayer 5/15

Wednesday of the Seventh Week of Easter

Morning Offering:

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month for the
formation of religious and seminarians. We pray that religious women and
men, and seminarians, grow in their own vocations through their human,
pastoral, spiritual and community formation, leading them to be credible
witnesses to the gospel. Amen

Daily Prayer:

Lord, when we meet broken people, people whose emotions are raw because
of misfortune, abuse or tragedy, give us the tact and gentleness to try to
understand them. Christ Jesus, You were especially gentle with and ministered
best to the brokenhearted. Help us follow Your example and allow us to
minister to our brothers and sisters in need in whatever way we are capable,
even if only to give our time with a patient and attentive ear. Amen

Take the Next Step to Strengthen Your Prayer Life

We all could use some healing in our life. And prayer is the best way for us to communicate our needs with God.

Healing Prayers is a wonderful prayer book created by the Missionary Oblates for all those who long for the healing power of the Lord. For these persons, this prayer book has been written in faith and hope that, united in prayer, we might all experience healing of body, mind and spirit in every aspect of our lives.
