Friday of the Thirty-fourth Week in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. We pray
in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father that people living with
disabilities may be at the center of attention in society, and that institutions
may offer inclusive programs which value their active participation. Amen
Daily Prayer:
God of the Universe, when we feel our world is out of control, and seems headed toward chaos, we hear the words, “Do not be afraid,” as spoken to a cowering band of apostles. O Lord, we believe in Your loving care of the universe. We also know that in Jesus Christ You have conquered evil, no matter how strong it appears to be. Give us the faith to believe in a tomorrow that is brighter than today. Amen
