Morning Offering
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month. Amen

Heavenly Father, You bless me every day. Help me to take the time to appreciate my blessings and share them with others. I praise You and thank You for all that You do. Amen.

Mt 17:9a, 10-13
As they were coming down from the mountain,
the disciples asked Jesus,
“Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”
He said in reply, “Elijah will indeed come and restore all things;
but I tell you that Elijah has already come,
and they did not recognize him but did to him whatever they pleased.
So also will the Son of Man suffer at their hands.”
Then the disciples understood
that he was speaking to them of John the Baptist.

Él les respondió: “Ciertamente Elías ha de venir y lo pondrá todo en orden. Es más, yo les aseguro a ustedes que Elías ha venido ya, pero no lo reconocieron e hicieron con él cuanto les vino en gana. Del mismo modo, el Hijo del hombre va a padecer a manos de ellos”.
Entonces entendieron los discípulos que les hablaba de Juan el Bautista.
