Daily Prayer and Reading 12/09

Morning Offering

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month. Amen

Daily Prayer & Reading for December 9, 2022

Today I will try to keep a smile on my face, Lord, so that I might touch the hearts of everyone I meet. I will try to perform small acts of kindness for strangers. I will go out of my way to make someone’s day easier. Help me to remember that one small, kind gesture today can impact someone’s life forever. Amen.

Audio of daily prayer read by Fr. Uribe OMI

Matthew 11: 16-19
Jesus said to the crowds:
“To what shall I compare this generation?
It is like children who sit in marketplaces and call to one another,
‘We played the flute for you, but you did not dance,
we sang a dirge but you did not mourn.’
For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they said,
‘He is possessed by a demon.’
The Son of Man came eating and drinking and they said,
‘Look, he is a glutton and a drunkard,
a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’
But wisdom is vindicated by her works.”
