Morning Offering
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month. Amen

Epiphany (Traditional)/The Three Kings
Lord, today I remember the Three Kings who found the stable where Your Son was born. Help me to discover Your miraculous gift we have in the birth and life of Jesus. I pray that You help me to never lose sight of Your unending kindness. Amen.
Matthew 1: 7-11
This is what John the Baptist proclaimed:
“One mightier than I is coming after me.
I am not worthy to stoop and loosen the thongs of his sandals.
I have baptized you with water;
he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”
It happened in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee
and was baptized in the Jordan by John.
On coming up out of the water he saw the heavens being torn open
and the Spirit, like a dove, descending upon him.
And a voice came from the heavens,
“You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.”

Doy gracias hoy, Señor, por las abundantes bendiciones de mi vida. Mi familia, mi hogar, mi trabajo… todo lo que tengo es gracias a Ti. Cuando los tiempos son difíciles, te ruego que me ayudes a no perder nunca de vista Tu bondad inagotable. Amén.

En aquel tiempo, Juan predicaba diciendo: “Ya viene detrás de mí uno que es más poderoso que yo, uno ante quien no merezco ni siquiera inclinarme para desatarle la correa de sus sandalias. Yo los he bautizado a ustedes con agua, pero él los bautizará con el Espíritu Santo”.
Por esos días, vino Jesús desde Nazaret de Galilea y fue bautizado por Juan en el Jordán. Al salir Jesús del agua, vio que los cielos se rasgaban y que el Espíritu, en figura de paloma, descendía sobre él. Se oyó entonces una voz del cielo que decía: “Tú eres mi Hijo amado; yo tengo en ti mis complacencias”.
