Wednesday of the Twenty-second Week in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. We pray for those persons living on the margins of society, in inhumane life conditions; may they not be overlooked by institutions and never considered of lesser importance. Amen
Daily Prayer:
As small children, O God, we fought the sunset as a time we’d have to go to sleep. Sunsets meant the end of play, the end of the day. Now as we grow older, we view the sunset differently. Give us rest in You, O Lord, and let us have the strength needed in our daily lives. Help us to accept that, one day, we will enter into our final sunset. Always embrace us with Your love and comfort. Amen
