Friday of the Eighteenth Week in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, and the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month that
political leaders be at the service of their own people, working for integral human development and for the common good, especially caring for the poor and those who have lost their jobs. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Loving Savior, help me to deny myself, take up my cross, and follow You faithfully. Teach me to seek eternal life over worldly gains, knowing that true fulfillment comes from losing my life for the sake of my Heavenly Father. May I live each day in a manner worthy of Your Kingdom, ready to meet You when my time comes. Strengthen me to trust in Your promises and to live according to Your will. Amen
