Saturday of the Seventeenth Week in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, and the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month that
political leaders be at the service of their own people, working for integral human development and for the common good, especially caring for the poor and those who have lost their jobs. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Loving Father, grant me the courage to stand for Your truth, even in the face of adversity. May I remain steadfast in my faith like John the Baptist, and not be swayed by the pressures and lures of the world. Help me to trust in You and Your mercy, knowing that Your strength is always with me. Amen
