Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. In particular, I pray for the intentions of the Holy Father this month that World Youth Day in Lisbon, Portugal, will help young people to live and witness the Gospel in their own lives. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Dearest Jesus, the cross will always remain a blind spot for the worldly. The world can never fathom that a God would accept suffering in order that we might be redeemed. The poorest woman offering her pain and suffering to God shares the wisdom of the cross whereas the richest woman will smile at her foolishness. Grant, O Lord, that we accept the wisdom of Your cross rather than the wisdom of the world. Amen
