Monday of the Twentieth Week in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, and the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month that
political leaders be at the service of their own people, working for integral human development and for the common good, especially caring for the poor and those who have lost their jobs. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Loving Jesus, help me understand fully that true goodness comes from You
alone. Inscribe in my heart to faithfully keep Your commandments and to love
my neighbors as myself. Teach me, Lord, to let go of my earthly attachments
and to do good in my life. Give me the courage to follow You wholeheartedly in
this world, trusting in Your promises of eternal life. Amen
