Nineteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, and the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month that
political leaders be at the service of their own people, working for integral human development and for the common good, especially caring for the poor and those who have lost their jobs. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Lord Jesus, help me to recognize Your loving presence that comes down from heaven every day. Give me the living faith to believe in You and to be part of the eternal life You offer. Move my heart and mind to learn Your ways and not of the world. May I always seek You, the bread of life that sustains me forever. Amen
