Fourteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, and the reunion of all Christians. In particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month, for a Eucharistic life, that we may place the celebration of the Eucharist at the heart of our lives, transforming our relationships in a very deep way and opening ourselves to the encounter with God and all our brothers and sisters. Amen
Divine Creator, the violence and the hatred in our world, our neighborhood and even our families, stun us. We don’t understand the mystery of evil in others or ourselves, but we trust in Your almighty power and goodness. You give us hope and consolation with the promise of a new creation. Give us the courage and the faith to live that promise through Christ Jesus. Amen
