Thursday of the Sixteenth Week in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, and the reunion of all Christians. In particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month, for a Eucharistic life, that we may place the celebration of the Eucharist at the heart of our lives, transforming our relationships in a very deep way and opening ourselves to the encounter with God and all our brothers and sisters. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Almighty God, how can You be the God of lightning and thunder and the God of warmth and gentle rain? How can You be the God of the tiger and the God of the lamb? How can you be the God of infinite mercy and the God of infinite justice? Help us to humbly bow our heads before the incomprehensible mystery that You are, O gracious and loving God. Amen
