Friday of the Tenth Week in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, and the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month that
migrants fleeing from war or hunger, forced to undertake journeys full of
danger and violence, find welcome and new opportunities in the countries that
receive them. Amen
Daily Prayer:
You came to Your prophet, Elijah, O God of Hosts, not in the fierce wind or the
earthquake or the fire, but in the quiet whisper of a breeze. The soul is not
made for noise; rather, the soul is made for Your gentle whispers. Help us
maintain a sacred, quiet place in our hearts so that we can feel the gentle
breeze of the Spirit, encounter You in solitude and hear Your voice deep within
our being. Grant this grace through Jesus, who spent countless hours in the
quiet places of prayer. Amen
