Saturday of the Seventh Week in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month for the
formation of religious and seminarians. We pray that religious women and
men, and seminarians, grow in their own vocations through their human,
pastoral, spiritual and community formation, leading them to be credible
witnesses to the gospel. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Dearest God, let us experience true delight such as the joy of an innocent and
trusting child. Give us the unexpected grace of shimmering joy in simply
experiencing life in all its fullness. Cut out our callousness and boredom and fill
us with a simplicity and honesty that will allow us to taste the joy of the Holy
Spirit, a joy that can season every part of our lives. Amen
