Friday of the Seventh Week in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month for the
formation of religious and seminarians. We pray that religious women and
men, and seminarians, grow in their own vocations through their human,
pastoral, spiritual and community formation, leading them to be credible
witnesses to the gospel. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Merciful God, You are slow to anger and rich in forgiveness. Strengthen us to
follow the direction of Christ Jesus and learn to forgive seven times seventy.
Give us gentle hearts toward those who constantly irritate us or offend us with
their manner or habits. Help us set aside rivalry and competition and seek to
work in harmony with all of our brothers and sisters. Help us to look for You
again and again in our neighbor, in our daily routine, and in all of life with its
joys and disappointments so that we may love and serve You. Amen
