Daily Prayer 5/23

Thursday of the Seventh Week in Ordinary Time

Morning Offering:

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month for the
formation of religious and seminarians. We pray that religious women and
men, and seminarians, grow in their own vocations through their human,
pastoral, spiritual and community formation, leading them to be credible
witnesses to the gospel. Amen

Daily Prayer:

Almighty God, we may never know how we affect other people. Help us to
realize that every action is like a pebble in a pond that sends little waves to
touch the shore. All of our actions affect other peoples’ lives. Living God, give us loving hearts so that our actions may reflect Your loving presence. Help us to be peacemakers by
building up the communities in which we live and work, and by doing the work of justice that paves the way for peace in the world. Amen

Take the Next Step to Strengthen Your Prayer Life

We all could use some healing in our life. And prayer is the best way for us to communicate our needs with God.

Healing Prayers is a wonderful prayer book created by the Missionary Oblates for all those who long for the healing power of the Lord. For these persons, this prayer book has been written in faith and hope that, united in prayer, we might all experience healing of body, mind and spirit in every aspect of our lives.
