Daily Prayer 5/22

Wednesday of the Seventh Week in Ordinary Time

Morning Offering:

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month for the
formation of religious and seminarians. We pray that religious women and
men, and seminarians, grow in their own vocations through their human,
pastoral, spiritual and community formation, leading them to be credible
witnesses to the gospel. Amen

Daily Prayer:

Lord, isn’t it strange how much we take for granted: that the sun will rise in the
morning and the heavens will continue to send rain? We even take for granted,
Lord, such gifts as health, only occasionally reflecting on good health when
close friends or family members get sick. Grant us a greater awareness of all
these gifts and let us never take any gift for granted. Help us to transform our
todays for Your glory and then the tomorrows will take care of themselves.
Amen
