Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month for the
formation of religious and seminarians. We pray that religious women and
men, and seminarians, grow in their own vocations through their human,
pastoral, spiritual and community formation, leading them to be credible
witnesses to the gospel. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Holy Savior, during this month we honor Your mother as our model of
faithfulness and generosity. By saying “yes” to Almighty God, Mary enabled
You to say “yes” to Your Heavenly Father. She experienced the mysteries of
Your life, death, Resurrection and Pentecost. Jesus, through these Paschal
Mysteries give us the courage and openness of the Blessed Mother and make
us more faithful followers of You. Amen.
