Daily Prayer 5/1

Memorial of Saint Joseph the Worker

Morning Offering:

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month for the
formation of religious and seminarians. We pray that religious women and
men, and seminarians, grow in their own vocations through their human,
pastoral, spiritual and community formation, leading them to be credible
witnesses to the gospel. Amen

Daily Prayer:

Jesus, Your guardian, Joseph, taught You a trade and labored beside You in a
carpenter shop. Today we remember St. Joseph the Worker in our prayers.
Teach us, through his example of steadfast and devoted labor, to always work
with gratitude and joy. Help us to always be grateful for the gifts and talents
You have given us. Bless those, Lord, who struggle to find employment. Watch
over the families of the unemployed or underemployed and give them comfort
in Your loving embrace. Amen
