Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. In particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month, that those with a terminal illness, and their families, receive the necessary physical and spiritual care and accompaniment. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Divine Physician, this is the flu season and the time for sore throats, runny noses and aching muscles. On this day we remember St. Blaise, patron saint for the healing of throats. O Lord, through his continuing intercession, may You heal all afflictions of the throat and every other disease of body and spirit and grant us the grace to make a good confession with the confident hope of obtaining Your pardon. Amen
