Feast of the Presentation of the Lord
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. In particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month, that those with a terminal illness, and their families, receive the necessary physical and spiritual care and accompaniment. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Heavenly Father, forty days after His birth the Lord Jesus made His first appearance in the Temple. Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, “Behold this Child is destined for the fall and rise of many… so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” We ask our Lord Jesus Christ to free our hearts from sin and bring us into Your presence. We welcome You, Lord Jesus, as our savior and hail You as the way, the truth and the light. Amen
