Friday of the Twenty-eighth Week in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. We pray for the Church, that she may adopt listening and dialogue as a lifestyle at every level, and allow herself to be guided by the Holy Spirit towards the peripheries of the world. Amen
Daily Prayer:
O God, You gave Saint Paul of the Cross the temperament and talent to be a
great preacher who touched the hearts of his many listeners. He was also
known for generous acts of mercy. We know, Lord, that forgiveness is one of the
most noble and Godlike acts we humans can perform. We are keenly aware of
how difficult true forgiveness can be. Forgive us our wrongs, Lord, as we forgive
the wrongs of others. Amen
