Daily Prayer 1/21

Third Sunday in Ordinary Time

Morning Offering:

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. In particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month, that the Holy Spirit may help us to recognize the gift of different charisms within the Christian community and to discover the richness of different traditions and rituals in the Catholic Church. Amen

Daily Prayer:

Almighty God and Father, Jesus called the first disciples to become “fishers of men.” May His invitation to “Come, follow me” resound in the hearts of many young men and women and help them to respond faithfully to the call. We ask Your blessings on all men and women who have answered Your call to religious life. Watch over our Oblate seminarians as they discern their calling, and help them to embrace Christ’s love and share it with others. Inspire them to build up Your Church on earth and help them to be joyful witnesses of the Gospel values of community and simplicity of life. Amen
