Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, and the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month that
political leaders be at the service of their own people, working for integral human development and for the common good, especially caring for the poor and those who have lost their jobs. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the strong faith and humility of Mary, who
believed in Your plan and traveled to share her joy with Elizabeth, her cousin.
Like Mary, seal me with the Holy Spirit, that I too may recognize and celebrate
Your blessings in my life. Let my soul proclaim Your greatness, and my spirit
rejoice in Your salvation, trusting in Your mercy and mighty works. Help me be
an instrument of Your love for all. Amen
