Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, Apostles
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, and the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month that
migrants fleeing from war or hunger, forced to undertake journeys full of
danger and violence, find welcome and new opportunities in the countries that
receive them. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Almighty and ever-living God, You chose Saint Peter to build Your Son’s church
and chose Saint Paul as the preacher of truth to the Gentiles. Grant that we may
learn from their example and always stand firm in our faith. help us to embrace
Your will for us today. Give us the courage to follow Your call, so that Your truth
may live in our hearts and that we might bring peace to everyone we meet.
