Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month for the
formation of religious and seminarians. We pray that religious women and
men, and seminarians, grow in their own vocations through their human,
pastoral, spiritual and community formation, leading them to be credible
witnesses to the gospel. Amen
Daily Prayer:
O Jesus, the mystery of Your Incarnation, Your coming among us as a human
being is complete only when You returned to the Father, triumphant in
performing the mission He gave You. Your kindness, O Lord, endures forever.
Continue to save us, loving Redeemer, through Your powerful intercession with
the Father and by being the source of Redemptive Grace for us. Amen
