Saturday of the Sixth Week of Easter
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works,
joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the
salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. In
particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month for the
formation of religious and seminarians. We pray that religious women and
men, and seminarians, grow in their own vocations through their human,
pastoral, spiritual and community formation, leading them to be credible
witnesses to the gospel. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Jesus, from the cross You made sure that Your mother would be taken care of
by Your beloved disciple. Give us that same love for our mothers and all mother figures nourished us and taught us. Let the example of their faith and love shine
forth. May Mother’s Day be not just one day to honor our mothers, but a
symbol of our ongoing love and concern for all mothers on earth and for our
spiritual mother, Mary, in heaven. Amen
