Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. In particular, we offer up the intentions of the Holy Father this month, that those with a terminal illness, and their families, receive the necessary physical and spiritual care and accompaniment. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Crucified Savior, You came so that all of us may be truly free. Help those who find themselves caught in the slavery of addiction to drugs or food or gambling or bodily pursuits. Give them the honesty to admit their hopeless dependence and seek help. Let them accept the loving invitation to join You, not as slaves, but as friends, to become free sons and daughters of the Father. Amen
