Twenty-fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. We pray for those persons living on the margins of society, in inhumane life conditions; may they not be overlooked by institutions and never considered of lesser importance. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Gentle Father, in the world’s view, only the fittest survive; but, in Your scheme, it is the survival of the weakest. You have a special love and concern for the widow, the orphan and the poor – the outcasts, and the “nobodies” of society.
Lord, let Your ways be our ways and give us a special concern for all of Your disenfranchised and forgotten children. And bless the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate who help the outcasts and nobodies. Amen
