Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. We pray for those persons living on the margins of society, in inhumane life conditions; may they not be overlooked by institutions and never considered of lesser importance. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Today, O Lord, we celebrate the end of summer and the return to the routine of work and school. Bless the work of our hands, for in our world of labor-saving devices, we often overlook the virtue of human labor. Help us respect and promote the dignity of workers throughout the world, especially in Third World nations. Provide all workers with adequate wages and wholesome places of employment. Amen
