Twenty-second Sunday in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. We pray for those persons living on the margins of society, in inhumane life conditions; may they not be overlooked by institutions and never considered of lesser importance. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Lord, I sometimes find myself spending money recklessly. I feel guilty when I buy clothes or food for pure pleasure rather than necessity. Help me, Lord, to remember that everything I have comes from You. Guide me to make good decisions and to consider the needs of others before I needlessly spend money on myself. Amen
