Divine Mercy Sunday
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month for the spread of peace and non-violence, by decreasing the use of weapons by states and citizens. Amen
Daily Prayer:
Dearest Jesus, we can easily relate to St. Thomas the Apostle – the original “Doubting Thomas.” It is so human to doubt at times and so we understand the skepticism of Thomas. Strengthen our faith and lead us through our clouds of despair and darkness, O Lord. Help us to cling tenaciously to Your Word, so that we can believe without seeing and proclaim with Thomas, “My Lord and my God.” Amen
