Morning Offering
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month. Amen

Heavenly Lord, I often hear the phrase, “We’re only human.” But in saying this we overlook the fact that to be human is a great blessing. To be human is to love, to forgive, to share, to make peace. Help me, Lord, to embrace the nobility of the human condition, remembering that I am good because I am created in Your image. Amen.

Matthew 9:27-31
As Jesus passed by, two blind men followed him, crying out,
“Son of David, have pity on us!”
When he entered the house,
the blind men approached him and Jesus said to them,
“Do you believe that I can do this?”
“Yes, Lord,” they said to him.
Then he touched their eyes and said,
“Let it be done for you according to your faith.”
And their eyes were opened.
Jesus warned them sternly,
“See that no one knows about this.”
But they went out and spread word of him through all that land.

Señor celestial, a menudo escucho la frase: “Sólo somos humanos”. Pero al decir esto pasamos por alto el hecho de que ser humano es una gran bendición.
