Daily Prayer 12/13
Memorial of Saint Lucy, Virgin and Martyr Morning Offering: O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in …
We are a group of Catholics who, for the longest time, felt something was missing from our lives. With the stress and chaos of the world, we often felt overwhelmed throughout our day. That is until we stumbled upon this verse from the Bible:
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” – John 14:27 (RSVCE)
We realized the thing missing from our mornings was regular and focused prayer.
Since that realization, we decided to change the way we were starting our day. We committed to beginning the day in prayer and it has changed our outlook on life for the better. So much so that we felt the need to share it with others. That was the genesis for Catholic Prayer Daily.
Each day, we republish a prayer written by Fr. David P. Uribe. He is the Chaplain Director of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. You can see the latest prayers below.
